Would you like to come and experience a morning of working with willow but without the intensity of a full basket?
During this relaxed and creative workshop we will be making willow flowers! You will learn some basic basketry techniques (the centre of the flower is the base of a round basket), while having an opportunity for creative expression with a choice of size, colour, design etc.
These flowers are great as a wall hanging or garden feature and are fun to make!
During the session there will be time to make 2 flowers.
As usual you are guaranteed to find a warm and welcoming space and a friendly and supportive group within which to rest and to create 😊.
While this workshop is suitable for beginners, working with willow can be hard on the hands and does require a good level of hand strength and dexterity.
