Weaving Workshops

There is something deeply rooted within us that longs to create, to bring something into the world using our own two hands. Weaving is one of the oldest crafts in human history and evidence of early weaving practices, pre-dating the Paleolithic era, has been found all around the world.

It is so much a part of our ancestral heritage that it can feel more like a ‘remembering’, rather than a ‘learning’.

Our workshops give you the chance to try this ancient craft for yourself, to learn new skills and take home something beautiful and handmade that you can be proud of. They take place at our cosy space on the farm. They are always fun, friendly and very productive.

They can make a great gift or a surprise on a willow- themed wedding anniversary!

Adhoc Workshops and One-to-One Tuition

We love to run ad hoc workshops for groups of family, friends or work colleagues. These can take place here at the farm or at your own venue. We can also offer one-to-one tuition if there is something specific that you would like to make or a particular skill that you would like to learn.

We facilitate large group workshops for all ages. We do regular presentations and demonstrations for WI groups and we have worked with brownie and cub groups, at schools and for local community events.

Gift Vouchers

We also offer vouchers for a workshop or a day of one-to-one tuition.

To order a printable gift voucher or to have one sent to you, please email Paula at merebrowmakes@gmail.com.
